BACK COUNTRY SKI CLINIC
Boulder Mountaineering School, CMC Boulder Group
To provide basic back country /peak skiing safety skills for the Colorado backcountry, including survival skills, survival skiing and peak skiing/navigation. Open to Intermediate or above Telemark/AT skiers.
The clinic consists of three lectures and three field trips. Participants must attend all three lectures and field trips. All lectures are at 7 pm in the CMC Boulder Group Club Room

Application Process: Enrollment in this program is on an application basis. It is anticipated that fifteen applicants will be selected to participate. This is an intermediate program and applicants are required to have met minimum standards including: Avalanche Awareness and Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Telemark/AT skills. (These skills will be validated on the first Field Trip.) Applicants must be able to attend all lectures and field trips. If a student does not have the prerequisite skills, they will be refunded their money.
Equipment Provided:
Student Equipment: Skis, boots (Tele or AT), skins, poles, shovel, beacon, all necessary backcountry ski clothing
