CMC Boulder Group
Leadership seminars are held on demand, and conducted at the CMC Boulder Group Clubroom. The online portion is covered in the classroom on the first night, and you should complete the on-line training prior to the seminar. To complete the on-line training, turn in the workbook prior to attending the leadership seminar. The reference materials are given in the links below.
Leadership Training courses are also offered through the Fort Collins and Denver groups. These courses can be substituted for the Boulder Leadership Seminar provided that you schedule a meeting the the Outings Committee chairperson, to be held afterwards. The purpose of the meeting is to review what was covered in the other group's training, and ensure that the requirements for becoming a Boulder trip leader were met.
Wilderness First Aid and CPR courses are typically be offered in the spring and fall, usually accompanied by a CPR Course.
Check the state website (cmc.org) for when WFA courses will be held.
