WINTER CAMPING - SNOW STRUCTURES CLINIC

Boulder Mountaineering School, CMC Boulder Group

The clinic is geared toward those with minimal winter camping experience. The emphasis will be on gear and site selection, cooking, and tricks for staying comfortable during the night. Each camper team will level a site, erect a tent, and build a kitchen. If time and weather permit, more experienced campers can in addition build a snow structure and perhaps sleep in it if they wish.

The course consists of one evening lecture and a overnight field trip.
